A Maryland mom who delivered in an ambulance was fortunate to have someone who had a lot in common with her child. Firefighter Paramedic Daniel Helsel of the Prince Georges County Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department after being born in an ambulance 42 years ago, delivers baby girl in an ambulance on this own birthday. Just another example of compassionate care provided by a member of a fire service based EMS system.
