The recipient of the CFSI/Masimo Excellence in Fire Service-Based EMS award takes another important step in delivering fire service based EMS to its citizens. The combining of two fire districts improves the response to medical emergencies which comprise 85% of the department’s calls. “EMS is the service our citizens rely on the most,” said Fire Chief Bruce Stedman.
